Happy Friday lovelies! I can’t believe I’m more than half way through my summer break already. Please sloooow down! I am thoroughly enjoying my time off.  Summer is typically that vital time for teachers to recharge their batteries and do the things they normally don’t have the time to do during the school year… like sleep in.  Oh, I’ve been doing a lot of that this summer. I’ve also been enjoying spending time with my kiddos, just relaxing at the pool, watching movies, and taking advantage of what our beautiful city has to offer. One of the many perks of being a teacher! 😉 I have also had more time for my all time favorite pass time– shopping! However, to my husband, that’s probably not a good thing.

I completely fell for this blush top from Shein.com.  Not only was it completely affordable, I absolutely love the delicate sleeve detail. You know me, I’m obsessed with anything off the shoulder. The straps were a bit big and kept falling at first, but I simply tightened them with a couple safety pins and they were good to go.  This top matched perfectly with my blush Marc Fisher lace-up heels I found at Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago. There are a few sizes still available and they are less than $50.  Today, I walked into Charming Charlie and they were having their semi-annual sale. Anything with a pink dot received an extra 80% off and the green dot items were buy one, get one free.  That’s where I got that basket weave wristlet. Man, I’m a sucker for a good sale.

Well, now the fam and I off to the San Diego County Fair  to indulge in something deep fried or bacon-wrapped. Have a fantastic weekend! xo
